Welcome to the captivating world of photography!
I’m Violeta, and I have a big love for taking pictures of landscapes and the night sky. Nature has always been close to my heart, and as someone who loves to travel, I made it my mission to capture the breathtaking moments and the beauty of each place I visit. My journey into photography started with a focus on dogs, especially my speedy whippets. They run really fast, around 50 km/h, and I wanted to capture their quick movements with clear and sharp photos. So, I decided to get my first camera, and that’s when my photography adventure truly began.
One day, while I was scrolling through Instagram, I came across a breathtaking picture of the Milky Way. It fascinated me so much that I became determined to learn how to capture such amazing celestial sights. Knowing that astrophotography is complex, I decided to take masterclasses and attend workshops taught by famous astrophotographers. I practiced a lot and never gave up.
After a while, I finally took my first picture of the Milky Way. I never thought it would win the “Darkness Falls” competition at Decode Gallery. I titled it “Milky Bus.” This win was a big honor for me, and my photo was even exhibited in Arizona, USA. Not only that, but I also proudly earned the prestigious title of Milky Way Photographer of the Year in the respected MWPOTY 2023 competition. These achievements have inspired me to share my knowledge and help other photographers, whether they’re just starting out or already experienced.
Before I began my photography journey, I expressed my creativity as an interior designer, creating beautiful homes for my family. I also received several awards in drawing competitions for my artistic talents. Drawing inspiration from amazing photographers around the world and drawing on my diverse experiences, my goal is to showcase the natural beauty that surrounds us.
Through my camera lens, I want to remind people how important it is to protect our environment. I capture clear skies, vibrant oceans, lush mountains, and thriving wildlife to show the inherent beauty of our planet.
